The 9th annual OBX Brewtag took flight on October 25, 2025, drawing thousands to the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head for an unforgettable celebration of flight and community.

Attendees enjoyed a full day of food, drink, and flight-themed fun, including performances by The Riff Tides and Vinny Anthony. The expanded beverage garden featured selections from 15+ breweries, cideries, and wineries including Wicked Weed Brewing, Flat Rock Cider Co, New Realm Brewery, and more.

Flight Competition Results

In 2025, 14 teams competed across two flight classes: Rogallo Class (fixed-wing) and Unlimited Class (creative, non-traditional). Distances soared—and so did team spirit.
